STRENGTHEN THE FOUNDATIONS OF VALUE  SYSTEM IN YOUNG MINDS

A seedling takes continuous nurturing and caring for it to grow into a big tree. In Group II, the teacher takes on the formal teacher's role and the children develop a sense of order and respect for rules. At this stage, children have to be motivated in doing and thinking about the human values taught previously. So, the importance is more for practicing the values, than merely knowing about them.
So, the Gurus have to make judicious combination of all five teaching techniques, of silent sitting, prayer, story telling, group singing and group activities, while teaching the content.
